Since 1992, the CDEC has joined forces with other organizations in the economic and community development in its territory by supporting projects that have a structuring effect. Our activities and projects are built around the following: the physical environment, sense of community and quality of life. The CDEC CDN/NDG has been at the forefront of community development proposing interventions to improve living standards, services and the environment of our population. Local development projects generate economic spin-offs that can increase the quality of life and reinforce social cohesion through improvement of the physical and human environment.
In November 2004, the CIQ signed a partnership agreement with McGill University Health Center (MUHC) to establish a means of communication and participation in order to ensure the harmonious integration of the MUHC in the surrounding community. |
